Spending the day in Key West, Florida

Posted by Allie Allison on

I have been wanting to go back to the Florida Keys for over a decade so what better time than to celebrate my birthday! We cruised right into the Key West port with Royal Caribbean Majesty of the Seas (easy on and off board) where we were docked the whole day allowing me to walk miles and miles exploring in my favorite Tie Dye romper. My daughter loved all the rainbows around and my son loved the relaxed nature of Key West which allowed him to not wear his shirt so he felt right at home. We walked Duval and adjoining streets, visited shops, took pictures at mile marker 0, and stood at the southern most point of the United States. I loved the photo opps to put your face in things like butterflies, lobsters, ect. My family loves a photo opp to be silly! We met fun new people and got to visit an old friend at one of the best art gallery's I've been into. There are tons of shops and things to do no matter if you are by yourself, with family or with friends. Key West is charming and fun for everyone! We scored and got to see a big truck event take over Duval street and watch the community come alive.
